1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Able Nest Support Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the use of our website. By engaging with us, you agree to these Terms and any additional guidelines or policies that may apply.

2. Eligibility for Services

Our services are primarily intended for individuals who:

  • Are registered under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Require disability support, community access, or related services
  • Are based in Hobart or surrounding areas in Tasmania

Clients must provide accurate personal and medical information relevant to their care and support.

3. Service Agreement

Prior to commencement of services, a formal service agreement must be signed by the participant (or their guardian/representative) outlining:

  • The types of support services to be delivered
  • Agreed hours, schedules, and rates
  • Rights and responsibilities of both parties
  • Cancellation, feedback, and dispute processes

4. Payments and Billing

  • Invoices will be issued weekly or fortnightly unless otherwise agreed.
  • Late or missed payments may result in suspension of services.
  • Clients must notify us of any changes to NDIS plans or funding.

5. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.
  • Short-notice cancellations (under 24 hours) may be charged as per NDIS guidelines.
  • No-shows without notice may also incur a fee.
  • Exceptions may apply for medical emergencies or valid unforeseen situations.

6. Duty of Care & Client Safety

  • Able Nest staff are trained and committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, care, and professionalism.
  • Clients and staff must respect boundaries, privacy, and mutual dignity.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw services in the case of unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and protect your personal and health information.
  • Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on data collection, use, and security.

8. Website Use

  • The content on our website is for general informational purposes only.
  • We do not guarantee that information is always accurate, complete, or up-to-date.
  • Any unauthorized use of the website, including copying or redistribution of content, is prohibited.
